Retreat in the Mountains of Santa Fe and Immerse in Yoga, Meditation and Nature…

Yoga Ma Barbara can assist you in designing your dream retreat, be it a day, a weekend, a week, or longer depending upon availability. Individual private sessions are also available at the cabin retreat by appointment.

As a yoga and meditation practitioner and teacher, she can offer guidance in all of the limbs of the practice as they relate to present experience, including the philosophical teachings of the yogic texts, the physical postures, and breath work, as well as the more metaphysical aspects of the practice including turning our attention inward to develop concentration leading to states of meditation and union or yoga. Her own personal practice is deeply influenced by the teachings of the dharma. She can also be your wilderness guide in nature, where you can hike along the abundant trails in the forest surrounding this unique sanctuary in the mountains. The intention is that each retreat be co-designed between the participant and Yoga Ma so that each individual’s particular vision of retreat is honored. You are also welcome to choose to do your personal retreat without guidance if you prefer.

Yoga Ma has the following dates reserved for weekend retreats in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. These retreats are co-led with Jeni Barnett, Yoga Ma’s teaching partner at Yoga at the Railyard classes.

Immerse in your yoga practice in the largest sense of the word…soaks in the hot springs, periods of meditation, practice of asana, optional hiking, nutritious meals, with a continuous thread of intention to cultivate awareness in each moment.

Meditation Group in Santa Fe
Monday nights at 6:00-7:15, at the Cerro Gordo Temple, co-taught with Sabina Schulze of Life Transition Institute.

Classes
Regularly scheduled yoga classes at Yoga at the Railyard and BODY are offered throughout the week.

Yoga In Mexico Retreat
The retreat dates are set for the winter of 2008 in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico, March 22 – 29, 2008. Details here.
